Symantec Security Flaws
Here’s an article about some security flaws recently disclosed in Symantec line of products, and a more in-depth look at the issues from Google Project Zero team. Just goes to show you that even security products need to be developed securely. And yes, IronBox included (here’s what we do to help ensure our service was developed securely).
Does this mean you should uninstall all your Symantec products and find a new anti-malware solution? Nope, all software has vulnerabilities in them, just really a matter of how vendors respond to them and the actions they take (or lack of) to protect their customers.
