Comcast’s Customer List Goes On Sale

This article is a little older, but a list of 590k or so Comcast customer data (emails and passwords) went on sale on the Dark Web causing Comcast to reset the passwords of those users. The article doesn’t give much details, but you do have commend Comcast for doing the right thing.

Most companies just deny, deny, deny. Whereas Comcast took preventative measures and reset passwords to prevent malicious hackers from accessing those accounts. I know Comcast gets a bad rap for almost everything under the sun, but kudos to them this time!
