Ever wonder what your data is worth on the Dark Web? Check out this article to find out.

Interesting note about PayPal accounts is that they can fetch as high as $300 if they are in good standing and have transaction history. So I thought I would share with you a little tip that I do with my own and business PayPal accounts: Enable PayPal’s Security Key.

PayPal’s Security Key is essentially 2 factor authentication, where a one time SMS code is sent to your mobile device when you log in. Enter the code correctly and you’re allowed to proceed to your account. Otherwise PayPal blocks access. That way if your PayPal password get stolen it will be of no use, unless they have physical access to your phone or it’s hacked as well. Security Key is not perfect, but it does make the job of would-be hackers much more difficult and they will probably move onto to easier targets.

See you next Friday,
